Easter on the Farm
This one is mine. My grandparents have owned this farm for as long as I can remember, and it's where our family still gathers for most of the big holidays. Sharing these photos is a vulnerable thing for me, but they hold something I want to keep. My grandpa prays before dinner, he always has, and one day soon one of us will have to carry that. The fireplace has always been there. The toys in the den have made it through generations of hands. The encyclopedias on the shelf haven't moved since I was a little girl. It's a time capsule of the deepest sense of home, in a house I've never lived in.
